Leadership and Learning

If you want something different, you have to DO something different. It only makes sense,

and yet, in this economic downturn I hear so many business owners simply lamenting the “less than stellar” situation, instead of using all that time and energy to figure out a way to adapt or diversify their business operations so that, despite the negative circumstances, they can not only survive, but THRIVE!!!! Now AND into the future.

When are we to OLD to learn something NEW?

Henry Ford assures us that

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty.  Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.

Are there new skills that you could acquire? Perhaps a different way of doing business to streamline your operations?

If you’re reluctant to refine and reduce, then get creative, think out of the box to come up with new avenues of income. If you lack the inventive imagination, hire a marketing expert. If you need an accountability partner to improve your self-discipline, work with a business mentor.

We just don’t know what we don’t yet know, until we make the effort to know it.

It’s your business. Make it a success.

In the words of John F. Kennedy,

“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.”
