Lurana Shelter Society’s 13th Annual Avenue of Hope Gala

Lurana Shelter Society is a registered, charitable organization that provides support to women and children who are victims of domestic violence. This institution operates in Edmonton’s area, and their focus is on helping their clients to permanently break free from the cycle of family violence, and on promoting social change through education and advocacy.

The programs administered by Lurana Shelter Society include providing:

safe and secure refuge

emergency services such as food, clothing, and transportation

child support

specialized services related to counseling, advocacy, legal and medical.

The calls that Lurana Shelter Society answered, through its confidential 24-hour crisis line, totaled 2,624 last year, a number that clearly demonstrates the importance and the urgency of supporting this institution. There are many ways available for you to support Lurana Shelter Society and their clients. Preferred Client Services will be sponsoring the 13th Annual Avenue of Hope Gala on February 25th, 2017. This fun event will include dinner, dancing, musical performances, and an interactive auction experience. We hope we will see you there!
