Team Bios

Before joining PCS as the Chief Operating Officer, Allan Purves had built a robust career with years of experience as an entrepreneur and as a corporate leader.

A life-long learner who believes in expanding human potential, he points to math contests in school for igniting his affinity for numbers. Along with his accounting degree from NAIT, a Management Degree from University of Lethbridge and his Certified Fraud Examiner Designation (CFE), Allan also holds two masters’ degrees from Royal Roads University: an MBA in Executive Management and an MGM (Global Management – Leadership).

What drives Allan is his desire to make a difference. Whether it’s mentoring team members at PCS or sharing vital information with clients, his intention is to spur growth. “We have an incredible team here of 38 talented individuals from all over the world.”

Allan brings a knowledgeable calmness to the team environment. “I view mistakes as learning opportunities for all of us.” Operating in an intense environment, he views adaptability and flexibility as key factors that support his team in moving at the speed of their business clients.

Within the community, Allan serves as the treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Edmonton Business Association.

A single dad for many years, Allan’s focus at home is on his two daughters. He also enjoys socializing and holidaying with a core group of friends. An avid news consumer, Allan likes to stay current with world events. He can also be found watching European football.
