Initially, Kennedy Kulka followed in her family’s footsteps to pursue a career in the health care field. She studied for a year to become an EMT. Then a cousin who worked in accounting showed her a different path. Intrigued, Kennedy upgraded her math courses and discovered how much she enjoyed working with numbers.
She is currently enrolled in her last year of NAIT’S Business Administration – Accounting program. As a professional bookkeeper in training at PCS, Kennedy is thrilled to be applying the knowledge she is learning at school. “Here I get to learn to use the software programs – something they don’t teach in class,” says Kennedy.
At work, Kennedy is happiest when her desk is neat, and her schedule is well-organized. “I strive to complete all my tasks before their deadlines.” With her positive attitude and bright personality, she also likes to make others happy.
She appreciates the PCS team as they patiently teach her unfamiliar programs and processes. “Everyone is very helpful and kind.”
In the small amount of spare time she has, Kennedy loves to play with her young niece. She also relaxes with her mom as they watch movies and cooking shows.
