If you were a bookkeeper in the ‘80s, you likely remember the daunting task of transferring payroll data onto reams of T4 slips – an original plus three carbon copies – all typed on a Selectric Typewriter. If you made a mistake, well, you pulled it out and started over. Pity the poor typist who had 100 T4s or more to complete!
Thankfully, those days are long gone. Easier though it may be now with all the technological advances, the task remains; and there’s a deadline to meet.
