Thank you to Dr Louis Francescutti’s for his powerful presentation at the Centre for Family Literacy Breakfast. This radical visionary’s presentation regarding the toll of Illiteracy on the homeless population and the barriers that issues with literacy create to accessing and understanding the Health Care system in Canada was inspirational. Beyond the discussion of Literacy, Dr. Louis Francescutti presented his idea for of how to solve this issue by addressing the immediate need for housing.
