Would you like a little cheese with all that whine?

“The Universe is against me. I just can’t get ahead.
Everyone else gets what they want and they don’t even work as hard as I do. I can’t really afford the time or money to go after the things I want. I’m far too busy, too exhausted to try anything new at my age.”

Ah, excuses, excuses. Would you like a little cheese with all that whine, whine, whine?

In his book, “Excuses Begone!: How to Change Lifelong, Self-Defeating Thinking Habits”, Wayne W. Dyer explained

“The power of your beliefs to keep you stuck is enormous. Those deeply ingrained notions act as chains restricting you from experiencing your unique destiny.”

Self-defeating thinking patterns, often instilled in you during childhood, prevent you from living at the highest levels of success, happiness, and health.
Because they are so firmly entrenched, however, making a positive change doesn’t happen overnight but you can start now to immediately turn around any negative self-talk you hear coming out of your mouth or just happening in your head.
The TRUTH is not something outside you. The TRUTH is how you decide to think NOW. You don’t have to remain tied to the obsolete belief systems your parents taught you because that’s what their parents taught them.

As Dyer advises,
Remind yourself daily that there is no way to happiness; rather, happiness is the way... By staying in harmony…all the contentment you could ever dream of will begin to flow into your life—the right people, the means to finance where you’re headed, all the necessary factors will come together.

Always remember…
Change the way you see things and the things you see will change.
